Why Fiber Glass Mesh

Advantage of Fiber Glass Mesh over Chicken Mesh/Steel Wire Mesh:

FIBER GLASS MESH

  • Fiber glass Mash is Modern and Ideal Engineering Material in Exterior & Interior Wall Plaster.
  • Fiber glass Mesh is woven with Fiber Glass Yarn & then coated with Alkali Resistant Latex.
  • Due to Fiber glass and Alkali Resistant Latex this mesh cannot get rusted in water. sand and cement.

  • Chicken mesh will get rusted after certain period of time in water, sand and cement.
  • Chicken mesh will varnish / destroyed after say 5-6 years.
  • Using chicken mesh, the plaster layer will be thick to get the smooth and even finish.
  • Chicken Mesh is heavier material compared to Fiber glass Mesh
  • While applying the chicken mesh "U" Nails are to be applied first then plastering is done and it is very difficult to bend in the corners of wall because it is very rigid.
